I am still somehow waiting for you to come out
and say it's all a joke
That would have been you.
But something in your heart was not true.
Death is not a thief
It soothes.
When a life comes to an end, a battle
is given up.
The moment you stop to resist and let water into your lungs,
then it eases.
The sorrow, the pressure, the unending stab of pain
Rests.
The soul is given another chance.
But it may be just not as easy after death.
Because we do not simply disappear.
I can still feel you.
You reached out to me and let me know
Your system clings in a fight, but you
losen your grip more and more
And let leaving happen.
Life is not easy.
Not in this system that we are in now.
It is a priviledge to find the gift of healing,
Because our illness is malicious and deathly.
It haunts us even after death.
But somethings helps us.
Everything is ill
May the cure set us free
Because there is a way out.
